Yes
make a Wolf breeding tower on every island you cant swim to
1,2,4 are easy kills with a wolfpack
Bonemass is immune to wolfes (take nearly no damage and mass kill them with poison)
Yakluth is not immune but will kill all your wolfes too, so you need really many wolfes to kill him before his poison works
With other words except for the snow biome and boss 3, Wolfes are the sollution for everything. (Wolfes dont atatck wolfes, Drakes allways fly = wolves are helpless, and if you cross a golem with a wolfpack, you had a wolfpack)

Breed wolves? You mean make a pen near the boss spawn and release them?
I am talking about going from boss 1 to boss 4?
Can that be done without killing 2,3.

Let them follow you and place them arround the boss spawn

I see no reason why you should not be able to skip any boss.
Specially if your character has the boss items from a other game
So far i see that there are only 3 things bound to the bosses
1: The Boss power by haing the trophy
2: the boss items
3: The Raids events

Well. You could in theory. But that means you will be using bronze/troll gear without being able to upgrade it.

You don't "need" to kill bonemass, the wishbone isn't needed to find silver.
You also don't "need" to kill the elder, the key's aren't needed to find iron.
However you do kinda have to kill Modar to access the items to turn grain into flour and flax into thread.
You don't need to kill Yaksluth because he gives you nothing. Just placeholders.
However.. 1st you melee, 2nd you melee, 3rd you melee with blunt, 4th you bowshoot, 5th you melee.. all are easy with the resist potions.
I am not even sure if you cant simply skip all bosses, you can missuse trolls for copper farming. so no first boss is needed for pickaxe.
Well yeah except dragon tears but thats only for better gear.

How are you finding silver and iron in their respective biomes without the wishbone?

Iron in swamp crypts and silber can be found sometimes open on the ground, and one silver vein is usually enough for a full set.

There is a skill people have, it's what the prospectors of old used.. we work out where the most likely location will be.. and go look and dig.. and whoa.. it's there.
And it's true you don't need the first boss, you can use troll, but he isn't very accurate at getting tin.
I think if they nerfed aoe damage to not hit tin and copper.. and removed silver and iron from map completely, until the specific boss is killed.. and maybe forced you to kill elder to get access to iron smelting and first boss to get access to bronze smelting.. than you'd have no choice but to kill the bosses.

You cant go into the crypts without using the swamp key tho.
And finding silver is not the issue. You need an iron pick to farm it.
The only feasible way is to plough through an entire swamp and hope to find a buried scrap pile by pure luck.

It's fairly easy to find once you know what you're looking for, same with turnip seeds.. and if you kill a lox.. which is really easy even with a basic bow.. you can get access to cold resist without fighting any wolves.

So ignore easy to kill bosses and "prospect" in higher level biomes hoping to find terrain features that designate buried ore.
And relating that to how miners prospected in the past... guess they also had hostiles that can spawn randomly at any time who's only motivation was to kill them.
Edit: for someone who thinks the Devs are out to stop modded servers, per your other thread, you sure make the game sound easy.
How many mods are you running since you have challenges playing the vanilla game?

Well actually they usually died from starvation or injury from falling. Not from animal attacks. Animals don't like loud noises.
And you don't "hope" to find ore.. you go to find ore. It's always where I go to look, it isn't my fault you can't find it.

Don't know how turnips and lox are relevant to the topic.
My point still stands that you'd need to plough through an entire swamp.
Even if you know what you are looking for there is no guarantee to find a scrap pile.
And IF you do you can't even mine the damn thing whole because the pit usually fills up with water.
So you'd have to do it multiple times in order to get enough iron.
And at that point, it would just be easier and faster to kill the elder and do it the intended way.

The mods I use allow teleportation of ore, and change the amounts of ore and coal in the refiners. And some minor changes to stamina and exp gain using tools. No changes were made to core difficulty or to weapon xp.
Once you know what you're doing.. the game becomes easy. Even with 15 hps.
The fun, is getting to that point, as for finding ore etc.. well that comes down to intelligence and some people are just smarter than others. Just as some people resort to innuendo and name calling because they have no actual input.
